How to find investors

Finding the right investors for your start-up

We are often asked by first-time entrepreneurs where to look for investors.

Some of the sources we usually recommend are:

AngelList (global)
TechCrunch’s CrunchBase (global, and huge – perhaps a bit too huge)
Web’s Best Advice for Entrepreneurs (global)
Deutsche-Startups.de Investor Directory (Germany)
Gründerszene.de Investor Directory (Germany)
Seedsummit by Seedcamp (global)

You should look specifically for investors who are active in your industry, stage and region, and who have actively invested in companies they were not previously invested in over recent months.
